Alfa9 introduces a new solution to give Alfa Romeo Giulia QV owners an edge in heat management for their brakes. Perfect for hard driving track users of the Alfa Giulia + Stelvio Quadrifoglio. Derived directly from the latest in motorsport technology, these barriers are exceptional at isolating heat from the brake pads to the calipers. Made from a special proprietary material with heat barrier properties far superior to the more commonly found Titanium plates. Their superlight design has no effect on unsprung weight.

The plates are positioned between the brake lining and the caliper’s pistons, creating a barrier for the passage of the heat given off during the braking. In this way vapor-lock type problems, caused by the brake fluid as a consequence of an intense use of the brakes, can be reduced.

If you’ve previously boiled fluid on your Giulia during track use, these are the answer. Additionally, as brake pads wear down with use and get thinner, their heat transfer increases — using the Alfa9 heat shields also allows you to keep your pads on the car longer because of their increased heat barrier properties.

These are reusable and compatible with any brand of Alfa brake pad you choose. Fitment for Giulia + Stelvio QV outfitted with steel brake rotors. Sold in sets of 4, for the front only. Rear barriers are not offered as the benefits in the rear are minimal vs. the front. Exclusively available at Alfa9.
