We are the US distributor for Intrax Racing suspension for classic Alfa's. They are the product of many years of development in Holland with Alfa Romeo racers, and in fact the owner of Intrax did lots of personal development time with these suspensions on his personal Alfa Romeo 75 race car.

These are a fully developed range of kits for any transaxle Alfa Romeo. This includes Alfetta GT, Sport Sedan, GTV-6 and Alfa Milano, Milano Verde. Each order will be made custom for your specific needs. Contact us with questions about the best way to set up your car, each system is custom tailored to your needs.

The first level is for cars that retain the original front torsion bars — offers increased control while still being comfortable and usable on the street.

RSA- Height adjustable with single knob compression/rebound damping is a unique feature for GTV6 and Milano/75's! Rear spring and shock are OEM configuration but allow rear height adjustments to tailor ride height. As an option we can build this with a rear coil over for the same cost.

The second levels is for cars with removed front torsion bars and stiffened race chassis with a focus on faster lap times and greatly increased road holding:

1K2- Height adjustable, and single knob compression and rebound damping, full aluminum body dampers. Front 40mm coil overs and rear coil over spring with height adjuster.

2K2- This level adds independently adjustable rebound and compression, full aluminum body dampers. Front 40mm coil overs and rear coil over spring with height adjuster.

4-WAY- The 4-way damper is adjustable in the low- & high-speed compression, rebound and the overall range of the low-speed compression. These adjustments can all be done separately and have no interference with each other. This makes it very good to fine tune the setup. This damping system is equipped with a heat device (thermostat) to insure damping force stability and optimum performance during all different operation temperatures. Full aluminum body coil over configuration both front and rear. Recommended for track cars where the owner is willing to setup the car with track testing and corner weights.

Black Titan- This feature can be added to any Intrax suspension. It's unique aerospace derived coating gives the following benefits:

- greatly reduced friction

- lower operating temps

- corrosion protection

- extended life of the suspension

For any system, we need the following information to consider the best setup for your Alfa:

·         For what purpose will your car be used (street, trackday, race, etc. or a combination)?

·         What type and size tire will the car drive on? (dot track tires or street)?

·         What size rim do you use?

·         Any other change (compared to standard) on the car that can influence the handling of the car (power, roll bar or cage, lightweight seats, etc.)?

 

OPTIONS:

Black Titan Coating

Black Titan is an invention made by the Russians. Their jet engines must perform under the toughest conditions, they must function in Siberia where it can be -30°C and  hours later in a other part of Russia it can be 40°C. After they fitted their engines with Black Titan, the service interval was increased by 100%.  Intrax decided that what is good for their airplane engines must be good for our shock absorbers. The Black Titan coating, which will be applied on the guidance- and piston rod, cannot rust and is extremely hard and smooth. The friction is lowered with these piston rods, reducing oil temperatures, improving traction and extending life time under the severest conditions. ADD $295

ARC (Anti Roll Control)®

After years of development Intrax did it. They developed a unique way to drastically reduce unwanted roll (lateral and longitudinal). Your car will have the comfort and all the other benefits of driving with “soft” springs like extra grip and traction, until you take a corner or need to brake then ARC® will control ride height with the feel of a sport/race/rallysetup. While driving over a curb, through a putt hole or over jumps the suspension will absorb them like driving with soft springs. At the same timeARC® will make sure that your suspension will roll or pitch minimally. So for the first time you can have the benefits of a soft spring set up without the disadvantages of too much body roll and/or collapsing suspension in putt holes, jumps, curbs. ADD $395 per corner.
