The Capristo high-flow cat is specifically made to offer better flow and lower exhaust gas temps on the Alfa 4C coupe and spider. It’s a worthy and trusted upgrade for any 4C!

You will notice better mid-range response and turbo spool up with both the 200 and 100 cel versions.

The unique sound of this unit is a welcome improvement over stock 4C exhaust, and gives a much more refined sound profile vs. running an open downpipe.

The lower exhaust gas temps from using this catalyst will allow the turbo to boost better without intervention by the 4C ECU, especially in hard use situations like on a racetrack. When combined with our ECU tuning expect around a 8-10hp increase from the high flow cat alone.

Proprietary castings from Capristo have been developed for the smoothest flow possible of exhaust gases, exceeding the flow capability of other typical welded tubing designs. 100 cel or 200 cel material, flows nearly like an open downpipe while being emissions compliant and without generating any CEL (check engine light) codes. In testing, some 4C’s using OEM factory cats have had the catalyst brick break free creating a blockage, you can avoid this problem and add reliability with a Capristo Alfa Romeo 4C catalyst.

This cat is a 100% bolt-in factory replacement and will work with any aftermarket of factory exhaust using the OEM mounting points. The flow of the Capristo 4C cat is optimized to work perfectly with the factory turbo speed, unlike some very large aftermarket downpipe designs which are too big and can create problems with the turbo/ecu. The Capristo 4C cats are made from the best quality T309 stainless, which is specifically chosen for its heat resiliency properties. Because of this, there is no need to exhaust wrap or ceramic coat the Capristo 4C cats.

The Capristo 4C catalyst housing itself is a robust proprietary casting, and not prone to cracking like the thinwall aftermarket 4C downpipes of other brands.

The catalyst material itself is the best quality on the market, made in Germany by HJS-Motorsport. HJS is regarded as the world leader in Motorsport catalyst production and development, with many race programs using their cats. FIA approved and used in BTCC, WTCC, WRC, WEC and LeMans cars.
